The money will allow the organization to launch its $18.8 million fund in support of advanced technology companies, especially in the areas of advanced materials, composites, nanomaterials and sensors.

The money will be divided between a pre-seed fund enabling grants of $50,000 each and a service program that will fund everything from management recruiting to prototype testing.
